This has made it important for the individuals to develop knowledge and skills with regards to operating as a team. The concepts of teamwork require a lot of participation from each of the member in order to ensure that the team is able to achieve its goals and objectives. The roles of each of the team member should also be clearly defined in order to ensure that all the members perform their duties (West, 2012). The interaction among the group members is also important in determining the success of the group. Conflicts within a group are usually common due to the divergence in opinions. However, the interaction and problem solving mechanisms that have been put in place within the group determines the ability of the group to be successful during the process. I was involved in a group work process that was involved in the operation of a business plan for a shoe selling company. Several lessons were learnt during the process. The group was able to achieve its goals and objectives despite a few challenges. The paper is thus a reflection of the group performance and personal contributions towards achieving the goals and objectives of the group.DiscussionLessons learntI played an active role during the group work process which contributed to learning different lessons with regards to the roles that I played. During the group work, I learnt an important lesson which involves problem solving. Although I had been allocated a specific task to perform for the group, it is difficult for an individual to come up with all the information require d. The individuals should thus present their ideas to the group and ensure that all the members discuss the ideas presented. This is important in enabling the group member to give their views and hence strengthening the points presented by the individuals. The discussion with the members is also useful in adding more information that enables the problem solving process to take place. According to the team work theory, it is important for the group members to ensure that the contributions of the members are analyzed by the entire group (DeChurch, 2010). This is also important in correcting any mistakes or assumptions that the individuals make in their findings. I also learnt that that discussing the individual contributions in the group also brings about new ideas and hence impacting positively on the problem solving process. As an active member of the group, I also learnt that it is important to give the group members an opportunity to critique the ideas presented. This plays an essential role in highlighting any weakness of the ideas that have been presented. I learnt that motivation within the group is an important process. This is because it plays an essential role in boosting the morale of the team members and hence encouraging them to participate actively. As a leader in team, I learnt that the group members usually participate actively in the processes of the team. The motivation of the team members can be carried out through recognizing the good performance of the team members. Announcing the important contribution that the member has made in the group is important during the motivation process. On the other hand, I also learnt that motivation is important in inspiring the members to actively participate in the group work processes. Healthy competition within the team is also important in ensuring that the group is able to achieve its goals and objectives. Motivatio n in the group plays an important role in creating a healthy competition within the group. This is because each of the group members is motivated to perform better for the purposes of being recognized. This leads to a healthy competition which improves the general performance of the team. According to the group work theory, healthy competition within a group plays an important role in encouraging all the members to participate in the group processes. I learnt that some of the tasks may be difficult for the group members to perform. This therefore requires the motivation of the team members in order to encourage them to perform the complex tasks. Different forms of motivation can also be used to inspire the team members.I also learnt that it is important to ensure that a good relationship is developed among the team members. This plays an important role in encouraging the team members to work together. Developing a good relationship among the team members ensure that the members are able to freely interact with each other. Increased level of bonding among the team members is achieved through the development of a close working relationship among the team members. According to the group work theory, the presence of a good relationship in the group plays an important role in ensuring that the group members know each other better (Salas, 2008). This is important for the group as it promotes consultations among the group members. I also learnt from my role as a leader in the group that developing a good relationship among the members is important in reducing conflicts within the group. The reduction of conflicts within the group is because the members know each other well and hence reducing the incidences of conflicts among the team members. The development of a good relationship among the team members is also important in ensuring that the members are acquainted with each other and thus impacting positively on the team processes. The success of the team is dependant on how the members relate with each other. The coordination of activities within the group is simplified when the members of the group have a good relationship with each other. On the other hand, the lack of a good relationship among the team members leads to the failure of the group to achieve its main goals and objectives.I also learnt from my role as a leader in the team that each of the team members has a unique quality and capabilities. Not all the members of the group are the same in terms of knowledge and ideas. Some of the group members are more knowledgeable that others when it comes to the group activities. However despite this each of the group member has some unique quality which contributes positively to the operations of the team. It is thus important for the group to ensure that the opinion of each of the member is taken seriously. Each member should be allowed to express their opinions regardless of how divergent it may be. This is because it the opinion may have some important information that can be used by the team for the purposes of solving problems. According to the group work theory, it is always important to ensure that the contribution of each of the group member is taken seriously. It is also for this reason that it is important to ensure that each of the group member is given an opportunity to contribute towards the processes of the group. The uniqueness of the group members should be used as an asset by the group at it has a positive impact on the operations of the group. I learnt that each idea in the group counts and it is not good to judge the group members due to the contributions that they have made. Efficient communication with the group is important in terms of ensuring that the operations of the group are successful. I learnt that the presence of an efficient communication enables the group members to clearly understand their roles. The coordination of the activities of the group is dependant on the communic ation process. This means that the group has to put in place an efficient communication process that enables each group member to fully understand their roles. The presence of an efficient communication process within the group is also important in ensuring that all the group members understand the progress of the group and what needs to be done in order to improve the group performance. The Mongols are one of the biggest motorcycle gangs and organized crime groups. This writer will examine the Mongols criminal activity to prove that they are an organized crime group. This will be done through the examination of the group’s involvement in racketeering, murder, guns, drugs, and assault. One crime that the Mongols commit that make them an organized crime group is Racketeering. Racketeering is defined as carrying out illegal business activities, usually by an organized crime group. During a three year investigation called Operation Black Rain 38 members of the Mongols were arrested under a federal racketeering indictment, including the gang’s national president, Ruben Cavazos. Both of them were at a bar in San Francisco near the Hells Angels headquaters when Guardado was informed that Ablett was there and wearing a Mongols vest. Guardado went outside to confront Ablett and a fight broke out. Ablett stabbed Guardado four times and shot him twice, killing him (Berg, 2012). The 2008 racketeering indictment included charges of murder and attempted murder. These charges include the killing of a man with a pool cue by two Mongols named Villain and Danger, because he bad mouthed the gang. The charges also include the shooting of people at Riverside bar in 2007 (Watkins, 2008). Along with racketeering and murder, the Mongols also commit gun violations. The Mongols use guns to help carry out their other crimes. Guns were used by the Mongols to kill the Hells Angels members outside of the casino and they were used by Ablett to kill Guardado. Emily Dickinson was born in Amherst, Massachusetts, on December 10, 1830. Except for a few months of travel, she remained in Amherst until her death. Dickinson began, in her twenties, a gradual retreat into the confines of the homestead, the house in which she was born, until for the last fifteen years of her life she didnt leave its grounds and saw no one but her brother and sister. As her withdrawal intensified, Emilys principal method of communication was through her letters. Emily Dickinson died on May 15, 1886 after an illness. Germany Under The Rule Of Adolf Hitler Essay When the topic of dictators is brought up who comes to mind? Most anyone will say Adolf Hitler. Why was he so cruel? What drove his hatred for the Jews? Why did he want a so-called perfect race? Well the answer to all these questions might be answered from Hitlers childhood. Adolph Hitler was born on April 20, 1889, in Braunau am Inn, Austria. He was the son of Alois, a customs official, and Klara Hitler. Alois was a very mean and stern father. His death, in 1903, came as arelief to Adolf. His relationship with his mother was totally opposite than his relationship with his father, Adolf idealized his mother so when she died in 1907 it was a very traumatic experience to him. This led to many problems, especially school. While living in Vienna, Hitler made his living by drawing small pictures of famous landmarks, which he sold as post cards. But he was always poor. He was also a regular reader of a small paper, which claimed that the Arabian race was superior to all and was destined to rule the world. The paper blamed Communists and Jews for all their problems and Hitler agreed to those views. Hitler agreed with most of the points made in the publication. He continued to live a poor life in Vienna and in 1913 decided to move to Munich. Still living in Vienna and being Austrian by birth, Hitler showed more loyalty to the country of Germany. He thought that the Aryan race was destined to rule the world. Many believe that he tried to escape the draft but it was never proven. His life in Munich was not much better then before and he continued to be poor. Then in 1914 World War I broke out and Hitler saw this as a great opportunity to show his loyalty to the fatherland by volunteering for the Imperial army. He did not want to fight in the Austrian Army. Hitler was a good soldier. Many of his political opponents claimed that he was a coward but records clearly show that he was not. He received two awards of bravery but never achieved a high rank.In 1918 Germany surrendered and Hitler was very upset about the loss. He believed that it was the Jews and the Communists who betrayed the fatherland and it was here that his disliking of the Jews most likely began. Germany, after the war, was in chaos. With no real Government to control the country, mangroups tried to take control. One day a big communist group staged a big riot but another group of ex-soldiers, including Hitler, managed to hold them back. Hitlers political rise starts to take off in the year of 1919. Since there were not many chances for employment Hitler stayed in the army. Hitler was assigned the job of going to various meetings of groups, which came up frequently, and to report on them. One day on September 12, 1919 a fateful day in history, Hitler was sent to investigate a small group, which called itself the German Workers Party. Hitler was not too happy about his assignment. He thought it wouldnt be worth it to even go. At the group they mainly talked about the Countries problem and how the Jews, communists, and others where threatening the master race and offered their own solutions. Hitler was bored by the meeting but when a man stood up and claimed that Bavaria should separate from Germany, Hitler got up and argued that point. He argued that Germany and Germans must unite into one to survive. His natural ability to speak impressed the leader of the group and at the end of the meeting he gave Hitler a pamphlet and an initiation the next meeting. Pornography on the internet Essay At first the allies did nothing about the fact that Hitler broke the Treaty. He gave speeches in which he indicated that the German people needed living space. Later he marched into the Reihnland, an area that Germany lost. Next he moved into Austria, his home country and annexed it without a shoot being fired into the Reich. Following Austria, he wanted control of the Sudetenland, a part of Czechoslovakia that was mainly German speaking. He also achieved that goal. The allies didnt want another war so they let Hitler do what he wanted to, but when he attacked Poland on September 1st, 1939 the allies no longer stood by and watched. Britain and France declared war on Germany a few days after later, World War II began. After the Wehrmacht conquered and occupied a territory the SS quickly followed. They would round up Jews, communists, Gypsies, homosexuals and others which were viewed as inferior according to Nazi racial theory and enemies of the German people and put them on trains. They were all sent to Concentration camps, which were set up to implement the final solution. Camps such as Auschwitz, Treblinka, Bergen-Belsen were all equipped with gas chambers to make the killing process quick and effective. In those camps 6 million Jews and many others were killed by the Nazis. Hitlers army seemed unstoppable but in the end, the allies managed to win many decisive battles. Eventually on Aril 30th, 1945 Hitler committed suicide in his bunker by shooting himself in the mouth. His body was burned, but no one knows what happened to the Fuhrers ashes. On May 7th, 1945 Germany surrendered unconditionally. Hitler was one of the most, if not the most cruel man to ever walk the face of the earth. His belief of the superiorority of the Aryan race made him hate all others. He believed that the slaws to the east should be made work for the German people. He thought of blacks as being Sub-human. And Most of all he hated the Jews. So much that in early 1945, when equipment and manpower was badly needed on the front Hitler insisted on man and equipment staying and continuing to transport Jews to the camps. In his Testament he left his money to his family. And message to the Germany people Above all I charge the leaders of the nation and those under them to scrupulous observance of the laws of race and to merciless opposition to the universal poisoner of all peoples, international Jewry. The only people which would be spared were the Scandinavians to the north, since they were closely related to the German race. With Hitlers death the Nazi party quickly faded. But there is still a lot of tension in Germany today. Hitler left his mark on the country and entire world. One can only imagine how the world would be today had Hitler won in World War II. Now that can only be imagined as opposed to being a reality. Hitlers cruelty and hatred for humankind in general, besides Germans, is mind blowing. His attitude and hatred might be traced back to his childhood or early adulthood but whatever the reasoning for Hitlers cruelty and hatred maybe, there is no excuse for his actions. In the end Germanys biggest enemy turned out to be Adolf Hitler himself. Since his death no one else on this earth has had the same views and beliefs as Hitler, surely no one has taken the same action he has and hopefully we will never see a Hitler type leader again on this planet.
